We can't believe it! What a day! Only 24h in....and we're already almost 50% funded. You are all amazing - Lily's magical adventures are coming your way :)

3 THINGS!!!!
1. WE'RE 90% FUNDED!!!! You are all amazing! Now our goal is to wrap up the last 10% today - let's do this! Can we pretty please ask you to share on social media, or even better, email a few of your friends - we always see a HUGE jump in our funding when people send a personal note to their network! It would make all the difference in the world for our campaign :)

2. LIVE CHAT TODAY at 10 am PST in Instagram stories! Go to @thislittlestreet 's IG stories :) We'll be sharing some more sneak peeks of the illustrations/story, and you can ask us any questions you have about the book/campaign etc. We can't wait!
3. GIVEAWAYS EVERY HOUR TODAY after the chat! At 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm PST we'll be hosting fun giveaways in stories also ;) Anyone who pledges (or increase their pledges!) during our giveaways will be entered. It will be fun :)

Wahoo!!! We Funded!!

Party!!
Last night, right before midnight, we were sitting at the kitchen table, a bottle of champagne on standby, only $74 away from funding. Troels was sweating, imagining the beard maintenance program in his near future.
We kept refreshing the page, willing it to change. With one refresh, the numbers turned to $25,000. We screamed and danced and busted opened the champagne! Huge thanks to Amy Hoye, Backer 574, who was watching closely and decided to push us over the edge.
And a huge THANK YOU to all of you! We are in disbelief and so incredibly thankful for your generosity over the last week. To say we are excited is an understatement, and we are blown away by your support and excitement for us. Most of all, we are thrilled that you like the idea of Lily's adventures and are ready to join us in these escapades. It's been amazing to see you catch the Lily fever.
What's next?
Giveaway Today! Anyone who ups your pledge (by even $1) before 3pm (PST) will be entered in a giveaway to have your child (or dog or parakeet) drawn into the book. Manage your pledge on your page, and then tune into @thislittlesreet Instagram stories after 3 to find out the winner!
Keep Sharing: Our campaign will be live until May 13, and we would love to keep growing this adventure as much as we can! Keep sharing with your friends and letting them know we funded! We will release more stretch goals, which means that all of you get more rewards! (Fun update about that coming tomorrow!)
Beard Recommendations: Troels is in the market for "Scandinavian Business Beards" and we spent a good amount of time last night looking for photo inspiration :) Please send us all your beard care tips as he gets this thing growing.

I can't wait to go on adventures with you! Thanks for helping make our dreams come true. I have so many silly friends in Scandinavia who want to meet you! (Just don't call my Dala horse a unicorn, he really doesn't like that.)

To Our Lovely Backers:
Since we completed our beard challenge, we wanted to get some new stretch goals ready for you!
STRETCH GOAL #1: THE SCANDINAVIA PATCH - $35K
If we hit $35K, then everyone with book reward will get this patch, the same one Lily gets at the end of her trip to Scandinavia. Pull out those jean jackets, because this is going to look fabulous sewn on the sleeve.
STRETCH GOAL #2: THE COLORING BOOK - $50K
If we hit $50K, we will make a downloadable (pdf) coloring book for you of Lily's adventure! All of our kid testers of the book asked to color it, so we know your kiddos will love it! (Let's be honest, the adults wanted to color too, so you can print one for yourself, and we won't tell.)
STRETCH GOAL #3: THE AUDIO BOOK - $75K
If we hit $75K, we will give you the audio book to download! We will also give you bonus Danish, Swedish, and Norwegian lessons, because you never know when you will need to order ice cream in Danish.
First lesson: guf is a strawberry marshmallow topping, common in Danish ice cream shops. To pronounce: sounds like goof --- Want to try? Say it out loud.......Good job! You've almost mastered Danish!

WANT IN? That's what we thought.
HERE'S HOW: Just up your pledge by any amount TODAY, April 25th (before midnight PST)! We'll send Lily's first adventures to the teacher or school of your choice. On us! How fun is that?
We want to say thank you to the incredible teachers impacting our kids' lives - especially with Teacher Appreciation Day around the corner! We’re excited to give back to lots of communities and share our brave Lily’s adventures with as many kiddos as possible.
